Currently, Dr. Trim and her staff at Momentum are all certified in Concussion Management.  The Momentum Clinic became certified as a Complete Concussion Management Centre in 2013, and is one of a network of Clinics that offers the best-researched concussion care and management across Canada.

In addition to the sports specialty, Dr. Trim is certified in Chiropractic Pediatrics. As a result of this training, Dr. Trim has a diverse practice of all ages, with a focus on sports injuries and family wellness care.  With Dr. Trim’s expertise, every patient that comes to the clinic is given an effective treatment plan to deal with the pain and limitations imposed by their injury or health complaint.  As positive results are obtained, exercise and rehabilitation exercises are put in place by the Physiotherapist on staff at Momentum to ensure a full recovery and stabilization of weakened areas.

Laser therapy was added to the Clinic in 2006.   Low level laser therapy is excellent treatment for sports injuries, chronic pain, treatment of arthritic conditions, headaches, TMJ and neck and low back pain.    The majority of musculoskeletal conditions respond with amazing results; even chronic pain that has been resistant to other treatments.

Since 1991, Dr. Trim has lectured part time at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. As an assistant professor, Dr. Trim has conducted lectures on sports injuries, rehabilitation, and the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), in addition to facilitating courses in chiropractic philosophy, technique, and functional rehabilitation.

In the community, Dr. Trim created the FMA & GEM workshop series for fitness training individuals.  FMA & GEM is the acronym for Functional Muscular Assessment & Graduated Exercise Methods, which is a workshop targeted to fitness training professionals who use exercise in their client programs or rehabilitation.  The key feature of the workshop is to give fitness professionals the tools to assess clients for muscular imbalances that can lead to injury.    Dr. Trim has lectured across Canada with this workshop, in addition to lecturing at professional training Conferences.

Dr. Trim has studied and become proficient with the OTZ method of analysis and treatment of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome.  Please click to our Services section or see the website to learn more.  Not only has this technique provided Dr. Trim with a painless, rapid resolution for patients with Frozen Shoulder Syndrome, but the same misalignment pattern is implicated in many other issues that patients bring to Dr. Trim.  The results have been tremendous!!

Dr. Trim is a member in good standing of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
